Objective: The Retail Associate will be responsible for helping to maintain the store appearance, and obtaining or receiving merchandise, totaling bills, accepting payments, and making change in hardware store.

Qualified Candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, twist, climb, talk, and hear as needed.

· Ability to work weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays) on a rotating basis, as scheduled.

Essential Functions:

· Greet and provide friendly customer service to customers.

· Stock shelves, counters, and/or tables with merchandise.

· Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters, tables, or shelves to promote sales.

· Stamp or mark prices on merchandise.

· Obtain merchandise requested by customer or receive merchandise selected by customer.

· Answer customer questions concerning location, price, use of merchandise, or miscellaneous questions as asked.

· Total price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill.

· Accept payment and make change for customer.

· Remove and record cash at the end of the shift as needed.

· Calculate sales discount to determine the price as needed.

· Keep record of sales, prepare inventory of stick and order merchandise as needed.

· Keep showroom clean and orderly.

· Cleans, sweeps, mops, washes, and vacuums store floors as needed.

· Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms as needed.

· Empties trash for store, shop, and offices as needed.

· Cleans windows.

· Dust and wipe down store shelves and offices.

· Complete all additional tasks required by the Management, as needed.

· Maintain excellent customer relations.

· Identify potential safety issues and take appropriate action.

· Organize and maintain efficiency of a personal work area.

· Share feedback from customers to management.
